Hi, I am running the demo v2.5.5.2 on W2K3. The accounts setup & tested fine but I never receive new e-mail notification and the status window doesn't show any new e-mails... even after selecting 'Check Mail'. Also, will this product show an e-mail as new in the google SPAM folder? Thank you.
Crash on Windows Vista ?
GAlert crashes for me on Windows Vista ; is this a known problem ? Is there a fix ?

Directly accessing Inbox
Each time I click on a message popup the browser fires up in the login page of Gmail and not in the account as it happens for example in GTalk where by clicking on "Inbox" menu item I directly access the Inbox of the Gmail account.
Galert doesnt work anymore
Just get the login page when clicking on each account although it registers that you have new emails?
GAlert doesn't login automatically
I'm using the trial with four gmail accounts, but clicking on each of them open the main gmail page without logging in automatically.
Is this an FAQ?
It seems to me that FAQs should have answers to the questions. Some of the Q's above are relevent to me (same issue), but there are no ansers from you. If the product is not working, and you can not be bothered to answer quesries (but still post them for some strange reason), how do you expect us to make a comitment to purchase them???? Please look up "Knowledge Base" in the dictionary.

1. What are the System Requirements for running MassGrid GAlert?
To run MassGrid GAlert you need:

* Windows 98/Me/NT4/2000/XP/2003 operating systems or later
* Internet connection and GMail accounts
2. When I run the program, it displays the "Registration" dialog. What's wrong?
You are trying to run the program without entering valid Registration Information.

* If you want to quit, click the close Button on the top-right of window

* If you are trying to run the demo, click the "Agree" Button.

* If you want to purchase the product now, click "Order Online".

* If you want to register the program, enter the Registration Information and click the "Enter Serial" Button. If you purchased online, the Registration Information is in the email we sent you.

* If you have already bought a Registration key/Serial Number, have entered it and are getting this message, there is an error in the registration information you have entered. For further information, see the "When I try to register, the "Invalid Registration Information" message is displayed" question in this faq.
3. When I try to register, the "Invalid Registration Information" message is displayed. What's wrong?
There is an error in the registration information you entered. Please follow these steps:
  1. Verify that you entered the correct Registration Name. If you purchased online, your Registration Name has format "Your Name (Your Email)".
  2. Verify that you entered the Serial Number correctly. If you purchased online, your Serial Number has format "####-####-####-####". Check for the following common errors:
    • typing the letter O or I instead of the number 0 or 1
    • transposing 2 digits
    • entering the registration information more than once (click in the field and scroll with the arrow keys to see this)
    • entering the registration information for the wrong product.
  3. If that didn't solve the problem, try uninstall and reinstall the program, then go through the registration again.
  4. If that still didn't solve the problem, contact MassGrid Sales (sales@massgrid.com), so we can help you with the problem.
4. How do I know if I've successfully registered the product?
To verify whether the product is already registered, choose "About..." from the tray context menu. If the product is unregistered, the "You have ## trial days left... " message will appear. If the product is registered, the "This software is registered to: [Registration Name] " message will be displayed.
5. Your FAQ doesn't answer my question / I need further help. What do I do?

  • If you are having problems with a particular product, please include the following information as well:
    • What product and version you are having problems with. To find the version number, Windows: single click the product icon and show properties (File:Properties:Version tab)

    • Whether you are using the demo version or the registered version of the product
