Re:GAlert Beta 2.1.2.2 - A better GMail Notifier - 2005/09/03 02:18 What exactly is the hotkey support for? I couldn't figure out what it does. Huh

For a proper hotkey function you should definately add support for the winkey! I don't know why no one really uses this key - that's it only interesting use - to provide for program independent hotkeys. ctrl+alt+shift etc. are often used by other programs, but in combination with the winkey you get practically an unlimited amount of unique hotkeys. Tongue

Thanks,
Sebastian

Re:GAlert Beta 2.1.2.2 - A better GMail Notifier - 2005/09/03 03:15 The hotkey is used to open your gmail account. After you setup a hotkey for a particulier account, you then can use hotkey to open that account. For example you setup Ctrl+1 for the default gmail account, then you can use Ctrl+1 to open gmail account without have to open through tray context menu.

Currently, GAlert doesn't support winkey combination, but all other keys are support.

Yes, it is pretty early here. We do hope and doing our best to provide support within 24 hours.

Re:GAlert Beta 2.1.2.2 - A better GMail Notifier - 2005/10/01 00:25 I thought so, but setting ctrl+alt+f12 as a hotkey resulted in nothing - I guess this combination was already taken by another app. And thats why the winkey would be so much more useful. Grin

Thanks for the fast reply - I wonder that you're already back at your 'support desk'...isn't it a littlebit early in the morning over in Canada? *yaawwn*
